Ah, Destructors #1. My very first comic from 1986. This should be worth thousands. Even WITH the frayed corners and soda spills on it. It was a great feeling to make these little books.
Just grab some loose leaf, fold them in half, three staples along the sides and just fill in the pages with whatever you wanted. Creating something out of nothing. It was an awakening.
I ended up making about a hundred of these. I still have them and love to go through them every once in awhile. I NEED to do this again. Similar to what creators are doing with the 24 hour comic thing. Don't over think. Don't go nuts with re-writes and dialogue. Don't even lay it out before drawing it. Just DO. Something like illustration improv. Yeah. Destructors need a reunion special or something.
